Ben was born in Rochdale, Lancashire and started performing at a very early age. After numerous successful performances in talent shows, and several seasons as a bluecoat, Ben became a professional comedian in 2003. In 2006, Ben became the first ever comedy act to complete the all important 3 minutes on the BBC tv series 'Let Me Entertain You' with Brian Conley, wowing the audience by performing numerous impressions and winning his show.
Since then Ben has become a regular performer in summer season shows, performing at the Babbacombe Theatre, Torquay for successive seasons in 2007 and 2008, and The Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne in 2009.
Ben has also proved to be extremely popular in pantomime playing Idle Jack in Dick Whittington and headlining as Smee in Peter Pan at the Hazlitt Theatre, Maidstone. Ben has played Wishee Washee in Aladdin at The Music Hall, Shrewsbury, The Civic Theatre, Rotherham and The Epsom Playhouse Theatre, Surrey. Ben returned to The Music Hall, Shrewsbury to headline in the venues last ever production, playing Will Scarlett in Robin Hood & The Babes in the Wood.
Ben has also co-created a production company, Colours Creative, alongside TV actor Tom Hudson. The company produce variety shows for charity and are currently supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, producing an annual variety show. The company has raised thousands so far and worked alongside some top stars including Cannon & Ball, Liz McClarnon from Atomic Kitten, Johnnie Casson, Mick Miller, The Krankies and numerous soap stars.
On top of all this Ben continues to tour across the country performing cabaret and enjoys every second of it. A true variety act, including comedy, impressions, music and mayhem suitable for any audience.
